Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque who play in the Top 14 of France have had a very poor start to the 2011/12 season. They as we go to press sit at the bottom of the League with just 10 points and one win after 8 games. The club who have a proud history play their home games in red and white strip and the away colours are red, white and green.

2011/12 Season Prediction for Biarritz Olympique
Biarritz Olympique finished their league campaign last season in 6th place, one better than the previous year. This position meant they did not qualified for the Heineken Cup 2011/12, and are in Pool ‘5’ along with; Benetton Treviso, Ospreys and Saracens. We see them being in a fight for top spot with Saracens and coming off second best. This year they had an interesting start to the League campaign as they were hampered by the loss of players to the Rugby World Cup, as we go to press they have played eight, won one, drawn two and lost five putting them in 14th and last place. We still predict that they will end up in the lower regions as they resurrect their season. For the Heineken Cup we see them failing to get out of the pool stage and not amassing enough points to drop into the Amlin Cup.
Top 14: 9th Place.
Heineken Cup: Out in Pool Stage.
