Week five and it gets no better for us, our team the Blues fall short again and it is looking much like the last few years promise so much and deliver nothing. So much talent and nothing to show. So first tip and the Hurricanes spoil the party right at the death again, this seems to be the scenario for this season. Game two and the Rebels did for us another one point victory and they earn it. The Waratahs and Sharks, yet another nail biter and this went to the home side who maybe wanted it more and certainly showed a higher skill level than the Sharks.
The Crusaders had 18,000 in their new stadium and opened it with a tense but exciting win over a Cheetahs side who were inspired and came close to spoiling the party. The last two went to our predictions as the Bulls had the easiest ride of the weekend and a convincing win. Whilst the Stormers produced our only away win from our brave call of four. So three out of seven correct calls in a weekend of high octane rugby.
