Argentina and Nike have officially teamed up to produce the rugby nation’s home jersey for the 2013 Rugby Championship. The official unveiling took place at the Buenos Aires Nike Store in the Unicenter shopping mall. The rugby side are nicknamed the ‘Pumas’ Argentina will play South Africa first on the 17th of August.
The Argentina jersey highlights the Pumas’ core values, which include love of country, commitment, effort and team work. The colour scheme ioncludes their traditional sky blue and white colours and on the back of the jersey the iconic sun of the Argentine flag reflects the team’s patriotism.
The shirt also boasts the Nike Dri-Fit technology which provides rapid moisture wicking, helping to keep players dry and comfortable. The stretch fit and elasticity of the fabric offers a streamlined fit and freedom of movement. The shirts will be available August 7th -14th exclusively at Unicenter Nike Store.
