World Rugby News was established in 2003, just in time to cover the Rugby World Cup in Australia, that was all a bit of a rush, but stood us in good stead for the 2007 tournament hosted by France. Since 2003 we've brought news of the tournament to thousands of rugby fans and we played a big part in the office sweepstakes around the country with our Free Sweepstake kit gaining over 10,000 downloads in 2007 and the same again in 2011.
In between the World Cups we've covered womens and junior rugby including the big tournaments there and sevens rugby as that tournament makes it way around the world and we were part of the succesful campaign to have it made an Olympic sport. Being so involved in all rugby we started offering deals and finding the best places to get the latest jerseys online, then RugbyShirts.net was born and we brought together all the best bit we had with Rugby News on to one easy to use website.
We've always got our finger on the pulse of the Six Nations and Tri-nations and with reporters based in the UK and New Zealand we are primed to report on Super Rugby, the Premiership and European Cup.
