Rugby Championship side Argentina have officially released their away jersey for the 2013 Rugby Championship. The shirt boasts a striking dark blue design with a puma print & latest performance innovation and they first wore the shirt in their 14-13 loss to Australia on the weekend.
The away jersey was unveiled prior to the Australia tie in Perth last weekend with the likes of Juan Hernández, Juan Leguizamón, Martín Landajo, Juan Imhoff and the captain, Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe unveiling the jersey.
The dark blue away shirt features a puma print and the team’s crest logo on the upper left, which is heat-applied to eliminate seams and prevent it from chafing against the skin. On the back the iconic sun of the Argentine flag symbolizes the team’s patriotism and matching shorts and socks complete the kit.
The Pumas away shirt boasts Nike’s latest performance innovation for rugby including the Dri-FIT technology which allows the evaporation of perspiration keeping players dry and comfortable longer. The elasticity of the fabric offers a tighter, stretch fit and better freedom of movement.
