Los Pumas play in a hooped shirt in the country colours of sky blue and white with sky blue sleeves, white shorts, and hooped socks in sky blue and white. The emblem on the shirts is a jaguar and not a Puma as most people would expect. Argentina played their first international fixture on the 12 July 1910 when they lost 3-28 in Buenos Aires to a Great Britain XV managed by Oxford University.
