Brian Ashton, John Wells and Mike Ford have been confirmed as the coaching team for England. Shaun Edwards has not been found a place in the coaching set-up at this time and although it was said they did not necessarily have the same objectives Ford stays on working with Ashton. Unlike some of the coaches recently appointed in the southern hemisphere, Ashton has been given a long term contract that should see him in place until at least the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
Andrew the Director of Rugby for the RFU also said that Ashton has the option to add to his team and it seem likely that one addition will be a team manager.
