The club kit for home games is; claret and white and its only claim to fame to date is in winning through to the Top 14 as from inception in 2006 they have been in Div 2. The club logo is a amalgamation of the two club logos and so, on one side the blue and white checker work of Club Athletique Bordeaux-Begles Gironde and the other side the yellow lion with a black base of Stade Bordelais. The crescents symbolise the city of Bordeaux.
Union Bordeaux Begles is a French rugby union team founded in 2006 as a result of a merger between, Stade Bordelais which was founded in 1889 and played in yellow and black and Club Athletique Bordeaux-Begles Gironde which was founded in 1907 and played in blue and white. The club will compete in the Top 14 during the season 2011/12, having won promotion through beating Albi 21-14 in the final of the Pro Div 2 play-offs.
Union Bordeaux Begles play their home games in the 9,000 capacity Stade Andre Moga, Begles, Bordeaux, Aquitaine, France. The stadium should be just about large enough to cope with most of the home games for the Top 14.
