The Raiders who have a Viking logo and a team mascot called Victor the Viking, play their home games in colours of lime green and white, with the away strip white with some green. The shirt has been worn by some notables in the game, perhaps the best known of whom is Mal Meninga.

The Canberra Raiders are an Australian professional rugby league football team, formed in 1982 and based in the city of Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The Raiders play their home games in the 25,000 capacity Canberra Stadium, Bruce, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. The stadium they share with the ACT Brumbies Super 14 team.

The club have won honours during the 80's and 90's, but nothing yet more recently. Trophies are: New South Wales Rugby League, Australian Rugby League and National Rugby League winners 1989, 1990 and 1994, runners-up in 1987 and 1991, minor premierships winners in 1990, New South Wales Rugby League Club Championships 1990, as well as: Channel TEN Challenge Cup 1990, Tooheys Challenge Cup 1993, Jersey Flegg in 1989 and 1993, the Presidents Cup in 1990 and 1995, S. G. Ball Cup 1995 and the Harold Matthews Shield in 1978, 1984, 1993 and 1995.
