Trinidad and Tobago won the Caribbean Rugby Championship on Saturday to book their place in the next round of qualifying for Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand. Qualification changes for future World Cups
Following a meeting of the Rugby World Cup Board it has been announced that changes will be made to the tournaments qualification process for RWC 2011 onwards and that the number of automatic qualifiers will increase to 12 places. Portugal made history on Saturday after qualifying for their first-ever Rugby World Cup with a narrow aggregate victory over Uruguay.
