Qualifying continues for 2007
Malta beat Croatia 26-15 in European qualification, they also have in their group Belgium and Germany, a tough group for progression to the big tournament. Basingstoke RFC's new ground was opened by Leroy Angel the new President of the RFU and a staunch Hampshire and Winchester RFC supporter in front of several hundred supporters and local dignitaries.
