Scrum-half Dwayne Peel will captain Wales for the first time in their World Cup opener with Canada on Sunday. Peel takes over from Gareth Thomas, who will start on the bench at Nantes alongside predecessor Stephen Jones.
Sonny Parker takes the problem number 12 jersey and Tom Shanklin the 13, with James Hook at fly-half. As well as the new centre partnership, the other change to the team that faced France last month sees props Adam Jones and Gethin Jenkins starting. Shane Williams, Mark Jones and Kevin Morgan are fit to fill the back three positions.
