England have officially launched their new home and away kits for the 2014-15 international season.
Supplied and design by Canterbury, the new home shirt for England is a very classic and simple display. The major change from last season’s shirt is that the England crest has been switched to the centre of the shirt. The Canterbury logo is embroidered on the upper right part of the shirt. Featured on the chest and shoulder region of the shirt is a printed cross design.
Behind the neck of the shirt is red lining and the phrase “England Connected”. The shirt’s collar has a much depper v-neck design than previous shirts.
The new alternative kit for England is red and will be worn against Samoa this autumn. England coach Stuart Lancaster said “It’s great that the alternate kit is very much in keeping with our national colours and as such we have chosen the Samoa game to wear it in preparation for the Rugby World Cup as this may be required during the tournament.”
At the back of the neck on the away shirt is the phrase “England Connected”. Both shirts feature the O2 sponsor in the middle.
