10 England players go back to their Premiership clubs prior to the first autumn international against Australia on 2 November. The players in question are:
These guys do still have a chance to feature in one or all of the three games in November which are: 2 November: England v Australia, 9 November: England v Argentina and 16 November: England v New Zealand all three games are played at Twickenham.
England coach Stuart Lancaster has said: “We won’t finalise the side to play Australia until closer to the game. “It’s a chance for those going back to stake a final claim for inclusion.”
With the three games being one week after another there is every chance that injuries will pull additional players into the match day squads. So guys will need to perform well to stake their claim for inclusion.
Of those going back we are a little surprised about Foden who is in supreme form at the moment as are Tom Johnson and Dave Attwood.
