It should be fairly evident which side fans are supporting during this weekend’s upcoming clash between Leinster and Glasgow, with those attending the game being asked to don their team’s kit in an attempt to create a new Guiness World Record and in the process raise money for the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffoldil Day.
Dedicated to preventing cancer, saving lives from cancer and improving the lives of those living with cancer the Irish Cancer Society is funded entirely by voluntarily contributions from the public.
The campaign, known as ‘Get Your Kit On 2013’ is looking to break the world record for the most fans wearing team kits when the sides meet this Saturday at the RDS Arena, with all money raised going directly to the charity.
The match itself is a significant one for both sides, with Glasgow currently topping the table on 61 points, with Leinster sitting in 3rd, just two points behind them.
