Leeds missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on St Helens when they lost at home to Harlequins on Friday night at Headingley. The first period was all the Quins as they posted scores by David Howell and Chad Randall with Rob Purdham converting the second to produce the hal-time score of 0-10.
The second period and Harlequins continued to play the better rugby and with Leeds only able to get one score through Rob Burrow whilst Quins scored through Howell again and Purdham added to his conversions with a drop goal to give us the second upset of the night and consign champions Leeds to their fourth Super League defeat in five matches at Headingley.
