The HSBC World Series Sevens day two at the Scotstoun Stadium and the semi finals gave us some topsy turvy results.
First Russia beat Portugal with muscle and not a little skill. Normal service was resumed as France smashed Spain, then Australia ruined Samoa’s weekend. Kenya did for the hosts Scotland. Fiji went down to the ever improving USA. Canada went down to Argentina and England could not cope with South Africa, whilst New Zealand had enough to do for a spirited Wales.
