The second round of the 2013/14 HSBC Sevens Series kicks off in Dubai over the weekend of 29/30 November 2013.
We are looking forward to a great weekend with plenty of good rugby to continue on from the Gold Coast.
The pools and fixtures have been announced and it looks like New Zealand (All Blacks) in pool ‘A’ have an easy ride with just Kenya to give them any problems. So New Zealand and Kenya to progress and in that order. Pool ‘B’ and we see this as Australia and Wales progressing with Scotland and Spain still needing to develop.
Pool ‘C’ is a tough call between England and Fiji for first spot though dark horses Canada and the USA if the continue t6o improve could be more of a challenge. We will go with England, Fiji one two. Last of the pools Pool ‘D’ is the toughest to call as South Africa, Samoa and Argentina are all a force on their day. Here we see it as South Africa number one with Samoa as two.
Lets hope this year we do not have the desert deluge and we can see all the handling skills from the pools as listed here:
Pool A
NZL, KEN, FRA, POR
Pool B
AUS, WAL, SCO, ESP
Pool C
ENG, FIJ, CAN, USA
Pool D
