Here are the pool results from the Firday evening games in the Hong Kong leg of the IRB HSBC Cathay Pacific Sevens World Series 2012/13. Also the qualifier competition for selection to next years competition. We got three wrong as Scotland failed against Portugal in a tight game. Canada smashed Spain and Argentina beat South Africa in some style. For all these results we will stick with our predictions to progress.
Our selections to progress are pool A, South Africa and Wales, pool B New Zealand and Kenya, pool C Samoa and England and pool D Fiji and Spain.
New Zealand v France arguably the best performance on day one.
