Bath Rugby have announced that leading IT services company, IPL will become the Club’s main sponsor for the 2009/10 season.

The company is Bath’s largest high-technology employer specialising in software and information services. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Bath in their own premises. They can boast a blue chip client base but are not particularly known outside their niche. The sponsorship should bring the company name to a wide audience.
The deal will bring the IPL brand to a very wide audience through Bath Rugby’s playing and replica shirts, team training wear, stadium advertising signage, and programme advertising. It also includes sponsorship of the Recreation Ground’s East Stand, which will be branded “The IPL Standâ€. Commencing 1st July 2009, the sponsorship contract is initially for 12 months with an option to extend annually.

This is a great opportunity for IPL to raise its profile locally and nationally, and to give something back to the community.
