Italy play their second Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007 pool ‘C’ game on the 12th Sep with a match in the Velodrome, Marseille against Romania. This will be the first meeting between the sides in RWC and should be an exciting affair and a forward battle.
Italy Romania Preview
With Italy now competing well in the Six Nations we expect them to win through against Romania, but it will not be easy. We see the game as a high scoring one but one that Italy will only win by 10 points or less. Italian players who should make a name for themselves are: Sergio Parisse who was probably the No 8 of the Six nations, Mirco Bergamasco, Roland de Marigny and the ever youthful Alessandro Troncon.
Italy 200/1
Romania 5000/1
Updates to this preview will follow closer to the 2007 Rugby World Cup and as odds on the match itself become available we will let you know.
