The Tuesday round of games produced some wonderful rugby. Perhaps the game of the day being Wales demolishing Samoa 74-3. The big challenge will be can they do the Kiwis again as they beat Fiji by 33-12 to claim the best runner up spot. We are going for a New Zealand win and into the final.
The other semi will see Argentina who beat Scotland 17-12 to join Wales as the only other unbeaten side and they have the daunting task of facing the vastly improved Springbok side who having trailed England 0-3 at half time and been blasted up front came out and scored the four tries they needed to win the pool as they demolished England 28-15. We see South Africa making the final in front of the home support.
The fifth place play-offs will see a northern hemisphere team into the final and we see this as probably and England v France match if England can raise their game to beat Ireland.
So we got one result wrong in England losing to South Africa, though it was fully desereved as they came with the mindset of taking one point rather than going all out to win! We have again put our predictions in bold for the next round of games.
