Injury ravaged Leeds maintained the pressure at the top of the Super league with an important away win to Hull KR. The first half was a tight affair and somehow Leeds came out with a 12-10 lead thanks to tries from Brent Webb and Rob Burrow, both converted by Kevin Sinfield. This was after Hull had taken the lead through a David Mills try on 15 minutes, converted by Paul Cooke, Hull held the lead again for a brief period in the first half following to sweet penalties from Cook. But the second Leeds try saw them into half-time at 12-10.
The second half and Leeds quickly extended their lead with a try by Kylie Leuluai and then Rob Burrow getting his second, Sinfield converting and taking Leeds out to a 24-10 lead. Hull were not done though and they came back into the game with tries through Scott Murrell and Peter Fox with Cook converting the latter closing the score to Hull KR 22- Leeds 24. This was as good as it got for Rovers as Keith Senior and then Matt Diskin both went over to extend the lead. Kevin Sinfield converted these to end the night with 6 out of 6.
