Wigan coach Brian Noble who would have been out of contract at the end of the season, has ended speculation over his future by signing a new contract with the club. The former Great Britain coach had been linked with a move to the Catalans Dragons, whose coach Mick Potter will join St Helens next season. The 18 months contract which an option of a further year on top, is good news for continuity at the club. Noble, who moved from Bradford to Wigan in April 2006, had also been linked with a move to Australia.
