Argentina have officially launched their new home jersey to be worn at the upcoming 2015 Rugby World Cup in England and Rugby Championship.
Set to be debuted against New Zealand in the Rugby Championship, Nike have given the Argentinians a classic hooped sky blue and white jersey. Five sky blue hoops and four white hoops complete the front panel of the jersey with additional sky blue colouring the sleeve and shoulder panels while the back of the shirt retains the hoop design for an overall continuous, modern and traditional look.
Large white panels on the sides break up the hoops while a simple rounded crew-neck collar is used which is coloured white. A grip application has been applied to the chest region to dampen the ball when catching it while a line from the ARgentina national anthem ‘Sean eternos los laureles’ is used at the base hem of the jersey.
The sun symbol seen on previous Argentina kits is used on the upper back of the jersey while the kit is completed with white shorts with sky blue and white socks.
