Signing a new jersey deal at the end of 2013, Australia have now launched their new home jersey for the 2014-15 rugby season.
As part of the deal with Asics the Japanese brand will aos supply training wear and kits for their sevens team, the jersey features the nation’s trademark striking green and gold colours. The shirt is primarily coloured gold featuring green trim under the arms on the upper chest and on the sleeve hems. Unlike the last edition more white trim has been included on the collar and piping.
The shirt is again sponsored by Qantas while the Australian coat of arms is seen on the left breast while the standard Wallabies crest is on the right while the Asics logo is in the middle. The iconic Southern Cross is again featured on this jersey but smaller and coloured in dark green.
Asutralia are set to debut this new kit when they take on France in a three match test series in June this year. The new Springbok’s home jersey is ecpected to be launched at the enod of this month.
