Prediction for Ospreys 2011/12 Season
They Ospreys finished their league campaign last season in 4th place, two worse than the previous year, but still the best of the Welsh Regions. This position meant they qualified for the Heineken Cup 2011/12, and are in Pool ‘5’ along with; Benetton Treviso, Biarritz Olympique and Saracens. We see them being in a fight for top spot with Saracens and coming off second best. This year they have had a good start to the League campaign winning all 6 games as we go to press putting them on 24 points and well ahead of Munster in second place on 18. We still predict that they will end up in third place as the sides missing players come good. For the Heineken Cup we see them failing to get out of the pool stage and not amassing enough points to drop into the Amlin Cup.
