l'Union Sportive Arlequins Perpignan or USA Perpignan as they are more commonly known are a French rugby club from Perpignan with close roots to Catalan being based in the Pyrénées-Orientales. The club was originally called AS Perpignan and formed in 1902, thought it has had 2 name changes in 1919 and 1938 when USA came into existence.
USA Perpignan play their home games in Stade Aimé Giral with a capacity of 13,000 at 66000 Perpignan Pyrénées-Orientales. It is the southern most club in France and has a fanatical support base stretching into the north of Spanish Catalan.
The club have won some top honours with the French title in 1914, 1921, 1925, 1938, 1944, 1955 and runners up in 1998 and 2004 the professional era. The have also finished as runners up in the Heineken Cup in 2003 losing to near neighbours Stade Toulousain.
