Worn for the first time today in their match against Racing Métro 92, the Paris derby wasn’t a great debut for the jersey with Racing Métro winning 23-15 at the Stade de France.

The new shirt is designed by adidas to reflect the strength of rugby played by Stade, the carbon design looking towards the jersey being black armour. The club’s Fleur-de-lis, a stylised lily, is on the side of the shirt, whilst the club crest has been colour matched in pink, along with the adidas three stripes over the shoulder. Those three stripes twist as they go over the shoulder, which you can see better from the back view.
Stade have had a range of bold designs in the past and this perhaps is one of the more subtle designs that adidas have given them for their rugby shirt, it should prove no less popular and is on sale from December 3rd.
