The Cornish Pirates are a professional rugby union team who play in the English National Division One, and are the senior Cornish rugby club. The club was formed in 1945 and was originally known as Penzance & Newlyn RFC. The Pirates play their home games in the 9,000 capacity Camborne Recreation Ground, Camborne, Cornwall having moved from the Mennaye Field in Penzance their original home.
