Plymouth Albion Rugby Football Club was founded around 1915 when Plymouth RFC and Devonport Albion RFC joined forces. The roots of the club are however much older as Plymouth were formed in 1875 and Albion in 1876. The Albion as they are often called play their home games at Brickfields, Madden Road, Plymouth, Devon.
Plymouth Albion play their home games in white shirts with a red band and red sleeves, the away shirt is black red and white on the shoulders and arms. The shirt is currently donned by players in the English First Division League. Plymouth thanks to the work of Graham Dawe as Player/Manager and then Director of rugby climbed the leagues in the early 2000's and Graham still donned the club colours even in 2006/7 season.
