RaboDirect Pro12 Week Twenty Two. So we missed the picks for last week, the one fof game the week before threw us out. No real surprises last week apart from Scarlets going down at home to Treviso.
All the games were played on Friday night and all kicked off at the same time. First up and Connacht hosted Glasgow who cemented their play-off place with a comfortable win 3-20. The half-time score was 3-10 and so the visitors clocked ten points in each half but could not secure the bonus point. Though given Leinsters result it would not have been enough anyway. next to Edinburgh where the result meant nothing to the table as the home side won 31-24. So finished tenth to the Dragons eleventh on the log. Leinster looking for the second home spot managed to win 37-19 against the Ospreys and so with the bonus point all went well. This one was 17-12 at the break so not a done deal until the second period. next up and the surprise as Benetton Treviso did not help the cause of Scarlets who still make it into the semis thanks to Ospreys being beaten. The score here was 17-41. Having been a tight 12-13 at the break Scarlets will need to improve dramatically if the are to upset Ulster at Ravenhill next Friday night. Ulster eased past Blues 37-13. Though they did have to come from 10-13 at half-time to ensure the win and t5he right frame of mind for their semi on Friday night. Last up and Zebre gave Munster a nasty fright as they came close to an upset at 25-27. This was 22-14 at the break and the home side must have felt on for getting away with out the duck for the season. Unfortunately it was not to be.
So one wrong this week as Munster lost.
