The Royal Air Force Rugby Union and CCC recently unveiled their new jersey, part of a four-year partnership between the RAF and the apparel manufacturing giant.
The new strip, which is predominantly light blue, was on display at Twickenham prior to England’s recent clash with South Africa.
Making full use of CCC’s innovative manufacturing techniques the jerseys features their patented ‘Loop 21’ collar, and is form fitting, lightweight, and absorbent.
Design elements include bold RAF ‘Roundels’ on both shoulders, with sponsor ‘Babcock’ emblazoned across the front. RAFRU Director of Finance and Media, Wing Commander Rog Simon, said the RAF were looking ‘forward to developing playing kit and apparel that supports the RAF Rugby Representative sides as they continue their drive towards excellence on and off the field.
