The Asian qualifying round for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in Russia 2013, is now complete with Hong Kong, Japan and the Philippines through.
Regarding the Asian competition Japan beat Hong Kong 14-12 in a tight Cup Final and get revenge for their loss earlier in the year. In the third place play off and against our prediction the Philippines beat Korea 22-19.
The other finals saw Sri Lanka beat China for the Plate and Thailand beat Kazakhstan our prediction for the Bowl. Our other wrong call was we expected Singapore to beat China in the Plate Semi-Final but they lost.
