2011/12 Season Prediction for Sale Sharks
Sale finished their league campaign last season in 10th place, this meant they did not qualify for the Heineken Cup 2011/12, and will therefore feature in the Amlin European Challenge Cup. This year they have an interesting start to the League campaign as they are not hampered by the loss of players to the Rugby World Cup, as we go to press they have played five, won three and lost two putting them in 4th place. We still predict that they will end up in the lower regions as they build for the future. The Amlin Cup sees them in Pool ‘5’ this year along with Agen, Brive and Rugby Club La Vila, a fairly open pool from which they have a very good chance of progressing to the semi-finals when the big boys from the Heineken come in.
