Saracens were founded in 1876 by the Old Boys of the Philological School in Marylebone, London and remained a London club until they moved to their ground share with Watford FC in 1997. This move took them to their existing home ground at Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford Hertfordshire. Saracens have one of the strongest marketing teams in the club game and this has led to a band of fanatical supporters many of whom can be seen wearing the fez hat.

The Sarries who do not have a vast trophy cupboard and can only claim the Tetley's Bitter Cup 1998 as a top trophy. They have featured for a long period in the top flight and will continue to try and produce the results their fans desire.
