The shirt has been pulled on by some top names in the game for example; Shane Byrne (Ireland), Richard Haughton, Richard Hill, Iain Fullarton (Scotland), Dan Scarbrough, David Seymour, Hugh Vyvyan, Andy Farrell better known for his Rugby League exploits and Alex Sanderson who became an assistant coach at Saracens when he retired from playing.

Saracens were founded in 1876 by the Old Boys of the Philological School in Marylebone, London and remained a London club until they moved to their ground share with Watford FC in 1997.
