Scotland have announced that they will tour Argentina in the summer, playing two Test matches. They will face Argentina on Saturday 12 June in Tucuman, with the second Test being played in Mar Del Plata on Saturday 19 June.
This will be Andy Robinson’s first tour since taking over as national coach from Frank Hadden in the summer and will be an interesting prelude to them meeting in the same pool at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Further spice is the fact the Pumas beat the Scots 9-6 at Murrayfield in November. Argentina, currently ranked seventh, two places above the Scots, also won their meeting in the 2007 World Cup 19-13 to reach the semi-finals in France.
I live in South America. I´d like to go to the Scotland Argentina game in Mar del Plate. Where can I get tickets?
Hi,
Do not know where to get tickets but try writing to Cuestiones Generales: [email protected] and ask them or checkout information on the Argentine RFU site: http://www.uar.com.ar/
