Scotland World Cup Squad

Frank Hadden has opted for 17 forwards and 13 backs in his 30 man squad. Uncapped Glasgow flanker John Barclay has been included in the squad, but fly-half Gordon Ross and winger Simon Danielli are among those to miss out. Injuries to Scott Lawson and Chris Cusiter have prompted the choice of three hookers and three scrum-halves.

Twenty of the group will be experiencing World Cup rugby for the first time, while Scott Murray and Chris Paterson will get a third taste of the event.
