The 2013/14 HSBC Sevens Series Day One 12 October has completed and as expected the usual big names are to the fore.
The only one that could be termed as a surprise is Australia winning pool ‘D’ as the can normally be expected to be slow out of the blocks.
So from all the pool games the leaders in the pack are: Pool ‘A’ New Zealand and Kenya, Pool ‘B’ South Africa and England, Pool ‘C’ Fiji and Wales and Pool ‘D’ Australia and Samoa. Pretty much what we called only the order may differ.
Regarding the results and our picks We called five wrong and one of those was the draw.
