South African coach Peter De Villiers has named his 22 men to play Leicester Tigers this week, as well as selecting a XV that will leave for Europe in seven days, which one can take it will be the starting team to play France in Toulouse. The midweek side left South Africa on Tuesday evening for the match, and will be captained by Bulls hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle.
The side contains ten players without test match experience. However twelve of the squad have represented South Africa at the highest level, with 186 test caps present in the team. With the surprise being that t Cheetahs flanker Heinrich Brussow has been included, which means that he will not be in the starting team to play France.
The uncapped players in the starting side are fullback Earl Rose, centre Juan de Jongh, scrumhalf Heini Adams, eighthman Ashley Johnson and flank Dewald Potgieter. On the bench Bandise Maku, Alister Hargreaves, Davon Raubenheimer, scrumhalf Francois Hougaard and fullback Riaan Viljoen have no Test experience
