Week four and we still have surprises a plenty in the results, making it very tricky for your pundits to give a good insight into who will do what.
The weekend opened with the Chiefs hosting the Brumbies and as we expected the home side prevailed, though they were pushed all the way to the final whistle, score 29-22. Next up the Stormers hosted the Blues. We called this as an away win following the Blues good showing last week. It was the Stormers who won through and in convincing fashion by 27-17, indiscipline being the Blues undoing. The third clash of the day we expected to be a humdinger and so it was as the lead changed sides several times and both teams tried to throw it about. As it was the Highlanders yet again showed how they have improved this season and hung on for our predicted win Hurricane 17-19 Highlanders.
Now it was that our prediction wagon lost three of its wheels as first the Force shocked us and the Waratahs home crowd with a narrow win Waratahs 20-21 Force. next up the Sharks hosting the Reds. We always expected this to be a huge match and it was the home side who came through Sharks 27-22 Reds. The final game of the weekend was from Melbourne with the improving Rebels hosting the Cheetahs. This one yet again went to the wire as the Cheetahs stole it in added time Rebels 26-33 Cheetahs, condemning us to just 2 correct calls out of 6!
