IRB 7’s Twickenham USA Dominate Super Powers Semi Clash
The USA beat Russia by 38-12 as they powered into the final of the shield where they will meet France to stuttered past Kenya 17-14. In the Bowl Wales just squeaked past Portugal but need to tighten their defence when they meet Scotland who had an easy run out against Zimbabwe 31-19. On day one of the Twickenham leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, there were no surprises. England losing to Samoa means they have a tough quarter final against Fiji and it will be a surprise if they mange to reach the semi-finals. Twickenham to host Crusaders game on Sunday 27 March
New Zealand side Crusaders will play their Super 15 match against the Sharks at Twickenham on Sunday 27 March and the game will be a major part of the Red Cross fund raising weekend for the earthquake appeal.
