England’s interim coach Stuart Lancaster has made some brave calls in his first Six Nations selection for the match against Scotland at Murrayfield on Saturday 4 February with Kick-off at 17:00 and live on BBC One.
At last Northampton’s Phil Dowson will get his first cap along with the Saracens pair of Brad Barritt and Owen Farrell. New boys on the bench are; Ben Morgan, Rob Webber, Geoff Parling, Lee Dickson and Jordan Turner-Hall.
With some many fresh faces it will be a real challenge facing the Scots at home.
Andy Robinson has called two new boys into his selection with Lee Jones a winger and David Denton a back-row both starting. Scotland certainly have the more experienced team for this clash so we will expect an exciting 80 minutes of rugby. We feel that if England click they will have too much pace and flare outside for Scotland whose try drought will continue. The only danger is they attack Charlie Hodgsons channel and reap reward.
