Saturday and all the other games were played out, first to Castres who welcomed Toulon and then went and beat them 22-15. This was a tight game, 13-9 at the break being the difference thanks to a try by the Castres hooker Brice Mach. The rest of the points coming from the usual culprits Rory Kockott and Jonathan Wilkinson. next and we travel to Bordeaux as they beat new boys Oyonnax 35-10. A couple of tries in the first eleven minutes left Oyonnax chasing. However, by half-time it was 21-7 a lead that was a step to far. Next and the fortress Clermont and the Parc des Sports Marcel Michelin here it was business as usual as Clermont went into the break at 13-6, going on to a final score of 27-13. Paris Brive and a final score of 25-18 saw the home side close out a tight game, it was 12-8 at the break with Paris thanking the boot of Jerome Porical. Then in the second period Paris did what was need to secure the win. So to Toulouse and the Stade Ernest Wallon a tough ask for Biarritz and they not surprisingly went down 31-7. Here it was 26-0 at the break.
Last and to Bayonne who hosted Racing Metro and lost to them 16-19. This was all square at 6-6 at the break however the home side could not scrape the points to sneak home. Racing continue to look a good bet for the play-offs though it is still early days.
