Stade Toulousain who are better known as Toulouse are a French rugby union club from Toulouse in Midi-Pyrénées. The club has for many years featured as one of the top clubs not just in France but in Europe, they also have as one of their sponsors EADS the local company that builds the Airbus range of aircraft. The club roots go back to 1890 when Stade Olympien des Étudiants Toulousains sports club was formed. The current name was not introduced until 1908.

Stade play their home games in the 12,000 capacity Stade Jean-Bouin, 26 Avenue du Général-Sarrail, 75 016 Paris which is across the road from the Parc des Princes which along with the Stade de France has been not only used but filled by the club for Heineken Cup match's. The fan base for the club is amazing and they will sell out both home and away games.

Toulouse have been European champions three times, winning the Heineken Cup in 1996, 2003 and 2005. They were also runners-up in 2004. They have also won 16 French Championship titles spreading from 1912 to 2001 and been runners-up 8 times with the most recent being 2005/6 season.
