Sam Tomkins had a hat-trick on his début which was one of the few plus points as England made hard work of beating Wales in their Four Nations warm-up match.

Bradfords Craig Kopzcak gave Wales the lead before Tomkins (2), Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Sam Burgess all scored to go in at 6-20 at half-time.
The second period and Ian Watson scored Waleses second before Tom Briscoe (2), Sean O’Loughlin and Adrian Morley touched down. Giving us the final score of:
