London Wasps have announced a new deal with apparel manufacturer Kukri which will see them through until the 2015/16 season.
On the club website, Chief Executive Chris Thomas talked of the similarities between the innovative, forward thinking approach of the Kukri brand, and Wasps’ plans for the coming years. ‘We are looking to the future very positively’, he said, ‘ and the club has ambitious plans in place’.
The deal has Kukri taking charge of Wasps’ overall retail operation, and will see them manufacture a complete range of supporters gear, in addition to the playing jerseys and training apparel.
Fans will get their first glimpse of the new kit when the Londoners take the field in mid July at the JPMorgan Asset Management Sevens tournament, while a new-look Away kit will be revealed in August ahead of the pre-season campaign leading in to the 2012-13 Aviva Premiership.
