Italy’s newest Rugby franchise, Zebra, which replaces the now defunct Herons side, recently released it first kit, designed and manufactured by Puma.
The first unveiling featured three different jerseys, two to be worn in the RaboDirect Pro12 competition, and the third for use in Heineken Cup games.
The Home Kit for the Rabo Direct competition is the most conservative of the three; primarily white with black stripes and highlights. The Away kit is dark blue, with a light blue zebra print across the front.
The Heineken Cup shirt is a blend of the two – the black and white colours of the Home Kit, but with a strong zebra theme in the form of a sublimated print covering the whole front of the shirt.
Both black and white shirts utilise the same technology, while the blue Away kit features a different collar and a different cut.
