Canterbury have just unveiled a range of new home and away kits for USA Rugby, utilising a theme which focuses on the young, emerging stars of American rugby.
Combining the latest innovations in materials and manufacturing with a classic stars and stripes motif Canterbury have produced Home and Away kits for the men’s, women’s and seven’s teams, with the XV-aside jersey set to make it’s first appearance in Houston when the Eagles host Ireland on June 8th.
A tough, stretch fabric has been employed to ensure durability and comfort, while a form-fitting design aims to help players evade would-be tacklers. Three layers of fabric combine in Canterbury’s patented Loop 21.2 collar design, enhancing strength as well as contributing to the aesthetics of the finished product.
The design was conceived to reflect the growth in popularity of Rugby in the USA in recent years, and the genuine advancements in the quality of the players coming through the Eagles system. Fans will get their first look at the new Sevens kit in action when the World Cup kicks off in Moscow on June 28th.
