The South Africa rugby sevens side have officially released their new home kit for the 2014 season.
The South African Rugby Union signed a new deal with Asics last year which will see all of South Africa’s national rugby teams wear kits from the Japanese sportswear company as of the 1st January 2014 to 31st of December 2019. The new hoem kit sees a new dark and lime green gradient design with the ABSA sponsor stamped on the front.
Earlier in the week the South Africa Rugby Sevens team became the first of the rugby power’s sides to see unveil their 2014 Asics home kit. The new Blitzbokke kit will make its match debut at the Las Vegas Sevens on January 24. South Africa are currently in second place in the 2013-14 HSBC Sevens World Series after three tournaments.
The South Africa Sevens 2014 Asics shirt straws away from the classic dark green of the Springboks in favour of a mix of a light green that moulds into a dark green colour.
